There is something magical about bass in the eyes of anglers everywhere there is bass.

They are special but sadly, an ever diminishing resource that will in time I fear, be hunted to commercial extinction. What is the main problem ? Money. Money and the value placed upon this species is where the problems lie. Not just from the fishmongers slab, no. The prices people are paying for bass end tackle in the form of lures, rods, reels etc is astonishing considering the poor returns many are getting.
